Social Situations
At Ignite Change, we understand that real-life situations often provide the best opportunities for growth and support. That’s why we offer a unique 'community' service, where we observe children during activities such as sports, dance, social gatherings, or other community events. While observing, we discreetly collaborate with parents and caregivers, offering coaching and guidance in real time. This approach allows us to address behavioral challenges and communication issues as they arise, while empowering parents to implement strategies in the moment. It’s an efficient way to receive support and gain insight, all within the context of everyday life.

What Our Clients Say
-
Do you offer a free consultation?Yes! We offer a free 15-minute phone or virtual consultation for all new clients in order to gain a better idea of your situation prior to your first appointment and help determine if we would be a good therapist-client match.
-
Do you accept insurance?Ignite Change is private pay only. However, many health insurance plans include out-of-network benefits. We can provide you with a monthly super bill that you can submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance company.
-
How many sessions do you typically recommend? The number of sessions recommended can vary depending on individual needs and goals. Typically, we start with an initial assessment to determine the best approach, followed by a series of tailored sessions. For children and teens, most families see significant progress within 5–8 visits, depending on the motivation and involvement of parents. We’ve had great success in this time frame and will work with you to create a plan that aligns with your unique situation and goals.
